The experience began on the ground floor with a redesigned lobby and continued to the 54th floor, featuring interactive exhibits showcasing the sights, sounds, and unique aspects of Los Angeles. Visitors could explore the city's culture, brush up on their LA trivia, and enjoy panoramic recordings of different areas and landscapes of the city along with mirrors and projections. The main attraction was the 70th-floor observation deck, boasting 360-degree panoramic views that stretched from the Hollywood Hills to the Pacific Ocean. The outdoor patios offered comfortable seating and a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the city lights after dusk. For thrill-seekers, the Skyslide was a unique experience – a 45-foot, fully enclosed glass slide attached to the building's exterior, offering a heart-pounding descent to the 69th floor. While OUE Skyspace LA permanently closed in October 2020, it remains a significant landmark in Los Angeles history, celebrated for its innovative approach to showcasing the city's beauty and culture.
