    Discover more about Viansa Winery

Viansa Winery, aptly named a portmanteau of founders Vicki and Sam Sebastiani, is more than just a winery; it's an immersive experience that transports visitors to the Italian countryside. Situated at the summit of Sonoma Valley, the winery boasts panoramic views of rolling vineyards, the Carneros wetlands, and the Mayacamas Mountains. The 130-acre estate includes 33 acres of vineyards and 97 acres of protected wetlands, home to diverse bird species. The Sebastiani family's winemaking legacy dates back to 1896 when Samuele Sebastiani arrived from Tuscany. He purchased vineyard property in 1904, using earnings from making cobblestones for San Francisco streets. Viansa Sonoma was founded in 1989. Today, Viansa continues the tradition of producing excellent wines and preserving the land. Visitors can explore the Tuscan-inspired tasting room and the Italian marketplace. The marketplace offers a variety of gourmet foods, including sandwiches, cheeses, and charcuterie. Wine tasting experiences range from casual bar tastings to seated hilltop tastings with valley views. Viansa is also a popular wedding venue, with indoor and outdoor spaces and on-site catering.
