Jacob Toft Winery is a boutique winery nestled in the heart of Paso Robles' Tin City, an industrial area transformed into a hub for craft food and beverage producers. Jacob Toft specializes in crafting high-end red wines that are big, bold, concentrated, yet elegant. Jacob Toft has been producing small-batch, full-flavored wines for over 17 years. Jacob learned that wines of quality begin in the vineyard while studying under Stephan Asseo of L'Aventure for six years. This philosophy drives Jacob to source only the best fruit that the Central Coast offers. These vineyard locations span from Santa Barbara to Santa Lucia Highlands, with deep roots in Paso Robles. Jacob Toft settled his winemaking operations in Tin City in 2015. Alongside his wife Kelly, they continue to craft blends with huge personality & nimble feet and look forward to sharing them with you. Jacob earned a reputation for being a meticulous, careful (but not too cautious) and knowledgeable winemaker. His standards of winemaking cleanliness and procedures are the stuff of Paso winemaking legend. He is a firm believer that good clean fruit does all the work and that a good winemaker's task is to “stay out its way” as much as possible. The tasting room offers a relaxed and intimate experience, where visitors can sample a selection of Jacob Toft's acclaimed wines. The winery specializes in red blends, showcasing the unique terroir of the Central Coast. Jacob Toft wines are known for their rich, intense flavors and smooth tannins. The winery also offers a wine club with access to special deals, events, and limited-release wines.
