Berkeley's Adventure Playground is a unique, free outdoor space where kids (and adults!) can build, create, and explore using tools and recycled materials. It's a constantly evolving landscape of forts, towers, and ziplines, all designed to foster creativity and cooperation in a supervised environment.

Public Transport
From various locations in the Bay Area, take AC Transit bus #72 or #51 to the 'University & Marina' stop. From there, it's approximately a 5-minute walk to Adventure Playground. AC Transit single ride fare is approximately $2.50. Alternatively, take BART to North Berkeley station, then transfer to bus #51B towards 'Shattuck & University' stop, then transfer to bus #72 towards 'Richmond' and get off at the 'University & Marina' stop. BART fare varies depending on the starting station, typically around $3-$5. All buses in the city of Berkeley are free for students.

Walking
If you are near the Berkeley Marina, follow the path towards the west end of the parking lot. The Adventure Playground is located on the south side of the parking lot. Look for the entrance along the path. No cost for walking.

From I-80 North, take the University Ave exit and follow University Ave towards the Berkeley Marina. After crossing the bridge, look for parking signs for Adventure Playground. Free parking is available in the adjacent parking lot.
