Take the exit for I-980 West toward San Francisco. Merge onto I-980 and continue for about 2 miles. Take exit 1B for CA-24 toward Walnut Creek. Merge onto CA-24 and continue for about 2 miles. Take the exit for I-580 West and continue for 4 miles. Take exit 26 for CA-13 South toward Hayward. Merge onto CA-13 South and take the exit for Skyline Blvd. Follow the signs to Chabot Space & Science Center at 10000 Skyline Blvd, Oakland, CA 94619. Parking is available on-site, which may incur a fee.

Public Transportation
From Redwood National and State Parks, you will need to drive or take a taxi to the nearest major bus station, which is located in Eureka. Once you are in Eureka, take the Greyhound bus service to Oakland. Upon arrival at the Oakland bus station, transfer to the AC Transit bus line 339, which travels to the nearest stop to Chabot Space & Science Center. You will get off at the stop on Skyline Blvd, and from there it is a short walk to the Center. Please check the Greyhound and AC Transit schedules in advance for the most accurate times and any potential costs.
