If you are in downtown Sacramento, start at the Sacramento Convention Center located at 1400 J St. From there, head west on J Street until you reach 3rd Street. Turn right onto 3rd Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with K Street. The Historic Lamp Posts are located throughout Old Sacramento, which begins just beyond K Street. You can explore the area on foot, and the lamp posts are visible along the streets of Old Sacramento, particularly near Waterfront Park.

Take the Sacramento Light Rail from any downtown station (such as the 7th & Capitol Station) heading towards the 'Sacramento Valley Station'. Disembark at the 'Old Sacramento' stop.
