Start your journey at the Carmel Plaza located at 5th Ave & Mission St in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Exit the Plaza and head west on 5th Ave towards Mission St. Turn right onto Mission St and continue until you reach Ocean Ave. Turn left on Ocean Ave and walk towards the beach. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the intersection of Ocean Ave and Scenic Rd. Continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of the Carmel Beach. From the beach, head north along the sand until you reach the scenic pathway that leads to Kasler Point. This path will take you to the edge of the point where you can enjoy stunning views of the coastline.

If you are starting from the Carmel Mission Basilica located at 3080 Rio Road, exit the mission and head south on Rio Road until you reach Carmel Valley Road. Turn left on Carmel Valley Road and walk until you reach 5th Ave. Turn right on 5th Ave and continue walking until you reach Mission St. Go left on Mission St and follow the directions above to reach Ocean Ave and then to the beach, leading you to Kasler Point.
