Continue on Sea World Drive and merge onto Mission Bay Drive. Follow it until you reach the intersection with W Mission Blvd. Turn left onto W Mission Blvd. and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ocean Blvd. Dog Beach is located at the end of Ocean Blvd. where it meets the Pacific Ocean. There is street parking available, but it can get crowded, especially on weekends.

To reach Dog Beach via public transportation, you can take the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus. If you're near the downtown area, take the bus route 30 or 35 from downtown San Diego towards Ocean Beach. Get off at the 'Ocean Beach' stop on Newport Ave. From there, it's a short walk: head west on Newport Ave. until you reach the beach. The total bus fare is typically around $2.50 per ride. For those who prefer biking, you can ride to Dog Beach using the scenic bike paths along Mission Bay. Start at the Mission Bay Park area and follow the bike paths west towards Ocean Beach. Bicycle parking is available near the entrance to Dog Beach.
