Walking
Barleymash is located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, easily accessible on foot from most hotels and attractions in the area. From the Gaslamp Quarter Station trolley stop, walk south on 5th Avenue for about two blocks. Barleymash will be on your left. Walking is free.
Public Transport
The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) provides convenient access to the Gaslamp Quarter. Take the Green or Silver Line trolley to the 5th Avenue and L Street stop. From there, walk north on 5th Avenue for one block. Barleymash will be on your right. A one-way trolley fare is $2.50.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout San Diego. A short taxi ride from the Santa Fe Train Depot to Barleymash will cost approximately $13, plus tip. Ride-sharing services may offer slightly lower rates, but prices can vary depending on demand.
Parking
Several parking garages and lots are available in the Gaslamp Quarter, but parking can be limited, especially during peak hours. The 6th & K Parkade offers a $5 flat rate on Sundays through Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Other nearby parking options include the Campus at Horton Garage and the G Street Lot, with hourly rates typically around $10.75. Valet parking is available at the Hotel Indigo and Hilton Gaslamp Quarter, but rates are significantly higher. Street parking is also available, but it is often metered and has time restrictions.
