Getting There

• Walking

  If you are near La Jolla Cove, start walking south on Coast Blvd towards Girard Ave. Continue on Coast Blvd until you reach the intersection with Prospect St. Turn left onto Prospect St and walk for about 0.5 miles. The Wisteria Cottage Museum will be on your left at 780 Prospect St. Look for the sign indicating the museum entrance.

  You can take the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus routes 30 or 31 from various points in La Jolla. If you're near La Jolla Village Square, board the bus at the bus stop on Villa La Jolla Drive. Ride the bus towards the La Jolla Shores area and get off at the stop at Prospect St and Girard Ave. From there, walk north on Prospect St for about 2 blocks until you reach 780 Prospect St. The museum will be on your right. Bus fares typically cost about $2.50 for a one-way ticket.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in La Jolla. Head towards La Jolla Cove and then take Coast Blvd heading south. Continue until you reach Prospect St, then turn left. Cycle along Prospect St until you reach the museum at 780 Prospect St. Make sure to lock your bike at the designated area near the museum entrance.
