From downtown San Francisco, take the historic F-Line streetcar directly to PIER 39. The ride costs $3 per person. Alternatively, several MUNI bus lines, including the 8-Bayshore, 30-Stockton, and 39-Coit, also serve the pier. BART riders can transfer to the F-Line at the Embarcadero station.

Taxis and rideshares can drop passengers off at the designated loading zone at the entrance to PIER 39. A short trip from downtown San Francisco typically costs $16-$20. Be aware of potential traffic delays, especially during peak hours.

If driving, follow signs to Fisherman's Wharf and PIER 39. The PIER 39 Garage is located directly across the street from the entrance. Hourly parking rates are $10 on weekdays and $12 on weekends, with daily maximums of $50 and $60, respectively. A special $40/day rate is offered Monday–Thursday for vehicles entering after 3:00 PM and exiting before 10:00 AM. Consider booking parking in advance, as rates may vary.
