Public Transit
From downtown San Francisco, take the Muni Metro N-Judah line towards Ocean Beach. Get off at the 'California St & 6th Ave' stop. Transfer to the Golden Gate Transit bus 4 towards San Rafael. After approximately 45 minutes, disembark at the 'Point Reyes Station' stop. From there, take the West Marin Stagecoach bus towards Bolinas. Get off at the 'Alamere Falls' stop, which is close to the entrance of Point Reyes National Seashore.
Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike in San Francisco and head towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on Alexander Avenue. Follow the signs to Marin Headlands and then to Point Reyes National Seashore. The ride will be about 30 miles and take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the journey.
Walking
Walking to Alamere Falls from San Francisco is not practical due to the distance (approximately 30 miles). However, if you want an adventurous trek, you can take a bus to Point Reyes Station and then hike to Alamere Falls. From Point Reyes Station, follow the Bear Valley Trail for about 5 miles to reach the falls. Make sure to check trail conditions.
