Public Transport
From downtown San Francisco, take BART or Muni Metro to Embarcadero Station. Several Muni bus lines also serve the Embarcadero. From Fisherman's Wharf, take the F-Line streetcar south along the Embarcadero. A single ride on Muni costs $3. Clipper cards offer convenient fare payment.
Walking
The Embarcadero is easily walkable, with wide sidewalks and a flat terrain. From the Ferry Building, Pier 39 is approximately a 30-minute walk north. Oracle Park is about a 30-minute walk south. Enjoy the waterfront views as you stroll along the promenade.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout San Francisco. A short ride from Union Square to the Ferry Building will typically cost $15-25, depending on traffic and demand.
Driving
If driving, be aware that parking along the Embarcadero can be expensive and limited. Several parking garages are available, including those at Embarcadero Center and Pier 39.
