Wilderness Park is located off Florence Avenue, adjacent to the 605 Freeway. From the 605, exit at Florence Avenue and head east. Turn onto Little Lake Road. The park will be on your left. Parking is available in the park's lots. Non-residents pay $5 per vehicle on Saturdays, Sundays, and major holidays. Downey residents can park for free with proof of residency.

Several Metro bus lines serve the area near Wilderness Park. Check the Metro website for the most up-to-date routes and schedules. From the nearest bus stop, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the park entrance. The Downey LINK transit system also operates in the city, with a fare of $0.50 per ride. Please note that Metro transfers or passes are not accepted on Downey LINK.

If you are nearby, walking to Wilderness Park is a great option. The park is located on Little Lake Road, and there are sidewalks available for pedestrians. From the intersection of Florence Avenue and Little Lake Road, head north on Little Lake Road. The park will be on your left. Enjoy the neighborhood scenery as you approach this green oasis.
