Whittier Narrows Recreation Area is accessible via the 60 Freeway. Exit at Rosemead Boulevard and follow the signs. From the 60 Freeway, exit at Santa Anita Avenue and head south. Parking is available within the park, with a fee of $7 on weekends and holidays. Street parking is available on Lexington Avenue on the north side of the park.

If arriving from the immediate vicinity, such as nearby residential areas or bus stops on Rosemead Boulevard, walking and cycling are viable options. The park has multiple access points from surrounding streets. From the intersection of Rosemead Blvd and Rush St, walk south until you enter the Park.
