Over the years, it evolved, eventually being gifted to the city of Vacaville around 1927-1928.At the heart of Andrews Park lies the Great Wonders Playground, a community-built play area featuring slides, tunnels, climbing structures, and interactive water features. The park also offers an outdoor basketball court and picnic areas. Walking trails meander through the grounds, offering a chance to connect with nature, while shaded areas provide respite from the sun.Throughout the year, Andrews Park comes alive with various events, including the CreekWalk Concert Series in the summer, the Downtown Vacaville Farmers Market every Saturday, and the annual Fiesta Days festival.
