Pass under Highway 101 and turn right onto Conzelman Road, the last road before the bridge. Follow Conzelman Road to the Golden Gate View Point. Parking is free but limited. Be aware that Conzelman Road involves driving on narrow, winding roads near cliffs.

    Public Transport

From San Francisco, take Muni Route 76X (Marin Headlands Express). This bus crosses the Golden Gate Bridge and stops at the entrance to the Conzelman Road parking lot. From there, it's a short walk to the viewpoint. The bus fare is approximately $3. Alternatively, from Sausalito, take Golden Gate Transit Route 130 to Alexander Ave & Bunker Rd; from there, it is about a quarter mile walk up hill to Vista Point, and a passageway under the Bridge leads to the Conzelman Road Parking Lot.

    Ride Share
