Walking
From Pier 39, walk west along the Embarcadero towards Pier 43 1/2. The SkyStar Wheel will be visible on your left. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes and offers scenic views of the waterfront. No costs involved.
Public Transport
From downtown San Francisco, take the F-Market & Wharves streetcar line towards Fisherman's Wharf. Get off at the Taylor St & Bay St stop, which is a short walk to Pier 43 1/2 where the SkyStar Wheel is located. A single ride on the streetcar costs $3. Alternatively, several Muni bus lines serve Fisherman's Wharf. Check the Muni website or app for the most up-to-date routes and schedules. A single Muni bus ride also costs $3.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From Union Square, a taxi or ride-share to the SkyStar Wheel at Fisherman's Wharf will typically cost between $15 and $25, depending on traffic and demand. The journey usually takes around 15-20 minutes. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver or through the app before you begin your trip.
