Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the San Lorenzo Community Center, head east on Hesperian Blvd towards 166th Ave. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto 166th Ave and continue straight until you reach the intersection with East 14th St. Cross East 14th St and continue on 166th Ave until you reach the end. Turn left onto the San Lorenzo River Trail, which will take you through lovely scenery. Follow the trail for about 0.7 miles, then exit onto the street and head towards Hesperian Blvd. Continue walking north on Hesperian Blvd for another mile until you reach the intersection with Highway 92. Take the bus (Line 1 or Line 8) from the bus stop at Hesperian Blvd & 166th Ave towards Hayward BART station. Get off at the Hayward BART station, then take the BART train towards Richmond. Alight at the West Oakland station, switch to the train heading to San Francisco/Daly City, and get off at the Mountain View station. From there, take a local bus or rideshare to Boulder Creek, where the San Lorenzo Valley Museum is located at 12547 CA-9, Boulder Creek, CA 95006.

  To reach the San Lorenzo Valley Museum from the San Lorenzo area using public transportation, take the AC Transit bus (Line 1 or Line 8) from a nearby bus stop to Hayward BART station. Once you arrive at Hayward BART, board the BART train towards Richmond. After one stop, switch trains at the West Oakland station and take the train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Get off at the Mountain View station and from there, use a local bus or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach the museum at 12547 CA-9, Boulder Creek, CA 95006.
