Getting There

Car
If you are driving from within Redwood National and State Parks, head southeast on the CA-199 S towards Crescent City. Merge onto CA-101 S. Continue on CA-101 S for about 20 miles. Take the exit toward CA-9 S in Felton. Follow CA-9 S for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Redwood Grove Loop Trail. The Visitor Center will be on your right. There is no entrance fee for the park, but parking may incur a fee depending on your location.

Public Transportation
To reach the Visitor Center via public transportation, you can take a bus to Santa Cruz and then transfer to a local bus heading towards Felton. From the Santa Cruz Metro Center, take the Highway 17 Express towards San Jose and get off at the Santa Cruz Downtown stop. From there, transfer to the 35 or 40 bus line towards Felton. Get off at the stop closest to Redwood Grove Loop Trail, and walk approximately 0.5 miles to the Visitor Center. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as service may be limited on weekends.
