Walking
Starting from the San Lorenzo Park, head north on Hesperian Blvd toward the intersection with Lewelling Blvd. Once you reach the intersection, turn left on Lewelling Blvd and continue walking until you reach the San Lorenzo Library. From the library, head east on Grant Ave towards the intersection with the 880 Freeway. You will need to take a bus or walk further to reach the nearest BART station, which is located at San Leandro. Take the BART train towards the Richmond direction and disembark at the Downtown Berkeley station. Once you exit the station, head west on University Ave and walk towards the Berkeley campus. Sturdy the Bear Statue is located near the intersection of University Ave and Oxford St, close to the main entrance of the campus.

Public Transport
Start your journey from the San Lorenzo Park. Walk to the nearest bus stop on Hesperian Blvd and take the AC Transit Bus Line 40 towards the Hayward BART station. Get off at the Hayward BART station and board the BART train towards Richmond. Travel for about 20 minutes and get off at the Downtown Berkeley station. From the BART station, exit onto University Ave, turn right, and walk towards the UC Berkeley campus. The Sturdy the Bear Statue is located near the intersection of University Ave and Oxford St.
