Public Transit
To get to GoCar Tours at 431 Beach St, San Francisco from San Mateo, start by catching the Caltrain from the San Mateo Caltrain Station. Take a northbound train towards San Francisco, which will take about 30 minutes. Disembark at the 4th and King station in San Francisco. From there, walk to the Muni T-line (light rail) station located on 4th Street and King Street. Board the T-line towards Chinatown. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the Embarcadero Station. Transfer to the F-line historic streetcar and board a streetcar heading towards Fisherman's Wharf. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Beach Street and Stockton Street stop. You will see GoCar Tours directly ahead at 431 Beach St.
Bus
From downtown San Mateo, head to the SamTrans bus stop at the corner of 2nd Avenue and East 3rd Avenue. Take the SamTrans Route 397 towards the Millbrae BART station. At Millbrae, transfer to the BART and take the train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Get off at the Embarcadero station. From Embarcadero, walk towards the Ferry Building and catch the F-line streetcar towards Fisherman’s Wharf. Disembark at Beach Street and Stockton Street. GoCar Tours is located at 431 Beach St, just a short walk from the streetcar stop.

If you are already in San Mateo, walk to the nearest bus stop or Caltrain station. Once at the Caltrain station, board a train to San Francisco. After arriving in San Francisco, navigate to the Muni or the F-line streetcar as described above. If you are already in San Francisco, use Google Maps or a similar app to find the best walking route from your current location to 431 Beach St. The area is pedestrian-friendly, and you will enjoy the waterfront views along the way.
