    Getting There

    Walking

    From the San Mateo Caltrain Station, exit the station and head south on 2nd Avenue towards B Street. Turn left on B Street and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the bus stop for SamTrans Route 292 at the corner of B Street and El Camino Real. Take the Route 292 bus towards San Francisco, which will take you across the San Mateo Bridge. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop for the Transbay Terminal in San Francisco. From the Transbay Terminal, transfer to the Muni bus or the Muni Metro. Take the Muni 30 bus towards Bayview Hunters Point and get off at the stop at Lombard Street. Walk west on Lombard Street for about 0.2 miles, and you will find Joe DiMaggio Playground on your right at 651 Lombard St.

    Public Transportation

    From San Mateo, head to the San Mateo Caltrain Station. Purchase a ticket to San Francisco. Board a southbound Caltrain and ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 4th and King Street Station in San Francisco. Once you arrive, walk to the Muni bus stop and catch the 30 bus towards Bayview Hunters Point. Get off at the Lombard Street stop. You will then need to walk about 0.2 miles west on Lombard Street, and you will reach Joe DiMaggio Playground at 651 Lombard St.
