    If you are in downtown San Mateo, start at the San Mateo Caltrain Station located at 21 E 4th Ave, San Mateo, CA 94401. Head east on E 4th Ave towards S El Camino Real. After about 0.2 miles, turn left onto S El Camino Real and walk for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 2nd Ave. Turn right onto 2nd Ave and continue for another 0.2 miles. You will then see the San Mateo County History Museum located at 2200 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063 ahead on your right. The entire walk should take about 30 to 40 minutes.
