Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by heading south on US-101 from your location in the San Francisco Peninsula. Continue for approximately 15 miles, then take the exit for CA-92 East toward San Mateo Bridge. Follow CA-92 East for about 5 miles, then take the exit toward US-101 South. Merge onto US-101 South. After approximately 4 miles, take exit 410B for CA-280 South toward San Jose. Continue on CA-280 South for about 5 miles and take exit 26 for Edgewood Rd. Turn right onto Edgewood Rd, then turn left onto Aberdeen Dr. The War Memorial will be located on your left at 108 Aberdeen Dr, San Carlos, CA 94070. There is no parking fee at this location, but be sure to check for any parking restrictions.

  For public transportation, start by locating the nearest Caltrain station. Take the Caltrain southbound towards San Jose. Depending on your starting point, you may need to transfer at the San Francisco Caltrain station. Get off at the San Carlos station. Once you arrive at San Carlos station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop on El Camino Real. Take SamTrans Bus Route 260 towards the Belmont Caltrain Station. Get off at the Aberdeen Dr & Crestview Dr stop, which is about a 5-minute walk from the War Memorial. Walk south on Aberdeen Dr for about 0.2 miles, and you will find the War Memorial at 108 Aberdeen Dr, San Carlos, CA 94070. The bus fare is approximately $2.50.
