From I-680 in San Ramon, exit at Bollinger Canyon Road and head west towards San Ramon Valley Boulevard. Turn left (south) onto San Ramon Valley Boulevard, then turn right (west) onto Morgan Drive. Continue a short distance on Morgan Drive; the trailhead will be on your left. Parking is free along Morgan Drive. Be mindful of limited parking availability, especially on weekends.

Take BART to either the Walnut Creek or Dublin/Pleasanton station. From Walnut Creek BART, take County Connection Route 21 or express routes 95X or 96X to the San Ramon Transit Center. From Dublin/Pleasanton BART, take County Connection Route 35 or express route 97X to the San Ramon Transit Center. From the San Ramon Transit Center, it's approximately a 20-30 minute walk to the preserve's entrance on Morgan Drive. A single ride on County Connection costs $2.00 with a Clipper Card or $2.50 cash. BART fares vary depending on the origin station.
