If you are starting from downtown Santa Barbara, head east on State Street. Walk until you reach Cabrillo Boulevard, which should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach Cabrillo Boulevard, turn right and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass by East Beach on your left. The Santa Barbara Chromatic Gate will be on your right at 721 E Cabrillo Blvd, just before the entrance to the Santa Barbara Harbor.
