From downtown Santa Barbara, head to the nearest bus stop on State Street. Take the MTD bus Line 28 towards Santa Ynez. The bus will take approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the Santa Ynez stop, then transfer to Line 1 towards Solvang. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop for Refugio Road. Walk north on Refugio Road for about 10 minutes until you reach The Brander Vineyard at 2401 N Refugio Rd.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in downtown Santa Barbara. After renting, head out of downtown towards Mission Street and follow it as it transitions into El Sueno Road. Continue straight until you reach Refugio Road. Turn left on Refugio Road and bike for about 6 miles. The vineyard will be on your left at 2401 N Refugio Rd.
Walking
If you are nearby and prefer to walk, start at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. Head north on State Street, then take a right on Anacapa Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with E. Yanonali Street, then turn left. Follow the road until it becomes Refugio Road. Walk along Refugio Road for about 2 miles until you arrive at The Brander Vineyard located at 2401 N Refugio Rd.
