Getting There

• Public Bus

  To reach Visit Santa Barbara at 500 E Montecito St, take the MTD bus Line 1, which runs frequently throughout Santa Barbara. If you are anywhere near State Street, locate the nearest bus stop and board the Line 1 bus heading towards the Eastside. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Montecito St and Anapamu St. From there, walk east on Anapamu St until you reach Montecito St, then turn right. Continue walking for a few blocks until you reach 500 E Montecito St, where Visit Santa Barbara is located.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in downtown Santa Barbara. Start biking east on Carrillo St towards State St, then turn right on State St and head south until you reach Montecito St. Take a left on Montecito St, and continue biking until you reach 500 E Montecito St. There are bike racks available at the Visit Santa Barbara location.

  If you are close to downtown Santa Barbara, you can easily walk to Visit Santa Barbara. Start at the Santa Barbara Courthouse located at 1100 Anacapa St. Walk east on Anacapa St, then turn left onto Anapamu St. Continue walking until you reach Montecito St, then turn right. Walk straight for a few blocks until you arrive at 500 E Montecito St. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
