Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central area of Funk Zone, head northwest on Helena Avenue towards the ocean. Continue straight until you reach State Street. Turn left onto State Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Cabrillo Boulevard. Once at Cabrillo Boulevard, turn right and follow it along the waterfront. After about a 15-minute walk, you will see Shoreline Park on your right at the intersection of Shoreline Drive and Santa Rosa Place.

  • Biking

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops available in Funk Zone. From the rental shop, head northwest on Helena Avenue towards the ocean. Turn left onto State Street and then right onto Cabrillo Boulevard. Follow Cabrillo Boulevard along the coast for about 1.5 miles. Shoreline Park will be on your right. Make sure to return your bike to the rental shop after your visit.

  • Public Transportation

    For those who prefer using public transportation, you can catch the MTD bus route 1 or 2 from stops along State Street in Funk Zone. Board the bus heading towards the Eastside. After approximately 15 minutes, disembark at the stop near Shoreline Drive and Santa Rosa Place. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance of Shoreline Park. Note that bus fares are typically around $1.50, and exact change is required.
