Getting There

• Walking

  Start from downtown Santa Barbara, specifically at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse located at 1100 Anacapa St. Head east on Anacapa St towards E Figueroa St for about 0.2 miles. Turn left onto E Figueroa St and continue for another 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Mission St. Turn right onto Mission St, which becomes Mission Canyon Rd. Follow Mission Canyon Rd for approximately 1.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Rocky Nook Park on your left. Continue walking on Mission Canyon Rd for a short distance until you reach Mission Creek Bridge at 610 Mission Canyon Rd.

• Public Transport

  Board the MTD bus #2 from the stop at State St & Carrillo St heading towards the Mission Canyon area. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop near the intersection of Mission St and Mission Canyon Rd. From there, walk northeast on Mission Canyon Rd for about 0.6 miles. You will reach the Mission Creek Bridge located at 610 Mission Canyon Rd. This is a scenic walk through the canyon.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start from the Santa Barbara waterfront and head towards Cabrillo Blvd. Follow Cabrillo Blvd until you reach the intersection with State St. Turn left onto State St and continue until you reach the intersection with Mission St. Turn right onto Mission St and then left onto Mission Canyon Rd. Follow Mission Canyon Rd for about 1.5 miles until you arrive at the Mission Creek Bridge at 610 Mission Canyon Rd.
