From Santa Clara, head to the nearest VTA Light Rail station, which is the Santa Clara Station. Board the VTA Light Rail Line 902 towards Mountain View. Get off at the Mountain View Station. Then transfer to the VTA Bus 20 towards Watsonville. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, and get off at the Capitola Village stop. From there, it's a short walk to 1400 Wharf Rd. Follow the signs towards the wharf, and you will arrive at Capitola Wharf.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Santa Clara. Begin at the Santa Clara Convention Center and head towards San Jose via the Los Gatos Creek Trail. Continue along the trail until you reach the Santa Cruz Mountains. Follow the signs to Capitola, which will lead you through scenic routes. Once you arrive in Capitola, navigate to Wharf Rd, and you will find Capitola Wharf at 1400 Wharf Rd.

For those who enjoy walking and want to explore, you can start your journey at the Santa Clara Central Park. Head south towards the nearest VTA Light Rail station to take Line 902 towards Mountain View. After reaching the Mountain View Station, transfer to VTA Bus 20 towards Watsonville. Disembark at Capitola Village and walk towards Wharf Rd. It will take about 15-20 minutes to walk to Capitola Wharf from there.
