Public Transport
From San Jose Diridon Station (Caltrain/ACE/BART), take the VTA Light Rail Blue Line towards Baypointe. Get off at the San Antonio Station. Walk approximately 8 minutes to Opera San Jose at 345 S 1st St. A single VTA light rail fare is $2.50.
Walking
From Plaza de Cesar Chavez in downtown San Jose, walk south on S Market St, then turn left onto S 1st St. Continue for a few blocks. Opera San Jose will be on your left at 345 S 1st St. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes.
Parking
Several parking garages are available within walking distance of the California Theatre. The closest parking is at 321 South 1st Street, San Jose. Other options include the SJSU West Garage ($4 for 2 hours) , Colonnade Garage (201 S. 4th St, $8) , and Block 3 Lot (150 S. 2nd St, $10.60). Parking rates vary.
