Public Transport
For those arriving via public transport, the Big Blue Bus Line 1 is a convenient option. From various points in Santa Monica, take Line 1 towards Santa Monica and disembark at the stop at Barnard Way and Ocean Park Boulevard. From there, walk north on Barnard Way for approximately 0.2 miles (about 5 minutes), and Ocean View Park will be on your right. A single ride on the Big Blue Bus costs $1.
Walking
If you're starting from the popular Venice Beach Boardwalk, head north towards the intersection with Ocean Front Walk. Continue on Ocean Front Walk until you reach Rose Avenue. Turn right onto Rose Avenue and walk until you reach Barnard Way. Turn left onto Barnard Way, and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. Ocean View Park will be on your left at 2701 Barnard Way. The walk is mostly flat and takes approximately 20-30 minutes, offering scenic views along the way.
Driving
If driving, navigate to the 2701 Barnard Way address. Parking is available in nearby lots, including Lot 5 South at the same address. Parking costs vary, with some nearby lots offering free parking for up to 2 hours, while others charge hourly rates starting at $2 for 2 hours. Metered street parking is also available in the vicinity, typically free for 2 hours. Be sure to check posted signs for specific regulations and time limits. Parking at the Ocean View Hotel costs $50 + tax per night.
