Walking
From downtown Mt. Shasta City, Headwaters Spring is approximately a mile north. Head north on Mt. Shasta Boulevard. Turn left onto Nixon Road. The entrance to Mt. Shasta City Park is on the right. Follow the road into the park, past the lower lodge buildings, to the parking area near the playfields and picnic area. Walk west towards the bridge over Spring Creek, which leads to the main trail and the spring. The walk from downtown takes about 20 minutes.
