    Walking

    From the center of Tahoe City, head east on Highway 89 towards the intersection with Highway 28. Turn left onto Highway 28 and walk approximately 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 50. Continue straight as this will merge onto Highway 50. Follow the road for about 3 miles until you see the signs for Cave Rock. The walk is scenic, and you will have views of the lake along the way.
