To get to California's Great America from Union City, start by walking to the Union City BART Station. From there, take the BART train towards Warm Springs/South Fremont. Get off at the Fremont Station and transfer to the VTA Light Rail. Take the light rail towards Mountain View. Get off at the Great America Station. From the station, it is about a 10-minute walk to California's Great America, located at 4701 Great America Pkwy. Follow the signs towards the park entrance.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Union City. Start by heading southeast on Alvarado-Niles Rd towards Decoto Rd. Continue on Decoto Rd until you reach the intersection with Mission Blvd (CA-238). Turn left and follow Mission Blvd south until you reach the intersection with Great America Pkwy. Turn right onto Great America Pkwy, and the park will be on your left. The total distance is approximately 10 miles and should take about 45 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.

Walking
Walking to California's Great America is quite a trek, but if you're up for it, start at Union City BART Station. Walk south on Alvarado-Niles Rd and then take a left onto Decoto Rd. Continue walking straight and follow the road as it becomes Mission Blvd (CA-238). Stay on Mission Blvd for about 8 miles, then turn right onto Great America Pkwy. The park will be on your left. This route is approximately 10 miles and will take around 3-4 hours.
