From Union City, walk to the nearest bus stop at Union City BART Station. Take the BART train towards Warm Springs/South Fremont. Get off at the San Jose Diridon station. From there, transfer to the VTA Light Rail. Board the light rail heading towards the Alum Rock station. Get off at the Convention Center station. From the Convention Center, it's a short walk to Opera San Jose located at 345 S 1st St, San Jose, CA 95113.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from a local rental service in Union City. Take Decoto Road heading towards the east, then merge onto the Alameda Creek Trail. Follow signs to downtown San Jose, and make your way to 345 S 1st St, where Opera San Jose is located.
