    Getting There

    Walking

    From Venice Beach Boardwalk, head north on Ocean Front Walk, enjoying the sights and sounds of the beach. Continue for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Turn right onto PCH and walk for approximately 3 miles. Leo Carrillo State Park will be on your left, just after entering Malibu. Look for the entrance sign and follow the path to the park.

    Biking

    Rent a bike from one of the many rental shops along Venice Beach. Start at the Venice Beach Boardwalk and ride north along Ocean Front Walk. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Turn right onto PCH and continue biking for about 3 miles. Leo Carrillo State Park will be on your left side, just after entering Malibu. Look for the entrance sign to access the park.

    Public Transit

    From Venice Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop on Pacific Avenue. Catch the Metro Bus Line 534 towards Malibu. Stay on the bus for about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop closest to Leo Carrillo State Park, which might be the 'Pacific Coast Hwy & Leo Carrillo State Park' stop. Walk a short distance towards the park entrance.
