Start at the Venice Beach Boardwalk, facing the ocean. Walk north along Ocean Front Walk until you reach Windward Avenue. Turn left on Windward Avenue and continue walking until you arrive at Pacific Avenue. Turn right onto Pacific Avenue and continue until you reach Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Venice Boulevard. At this point, you can catch the Metro Bus Line 33 towards Downtown LA, which will take you directly to MacArthur Park. Get off at the stop at 6th Street and walk a short distance to 2230 W 6th St.

Rent a bike from one of the many rental shops along Venice Beach. Head east on Venice Boulevard until you reach the intersection with La Cienega Boulevard. Continue going straight until you reach 6th Street. Turn left on 6th Street and bike until you arrive at MacArthur Park, located at 2230 W 6th St. The ride is approximately 4 miles and should take about 20-25 minutes depending on your speed.
