From the Downtown Santa Monica Expo Line Station, head west on Colorado Avenue along the esplanade. Cross over Ocean Avenue, and walk down the Pier bridge. The Santa Monica Pier Arch will be on your right. It's approximately a 10-minute walk from the station to the Pier.

Public Transport
Several bus lines service the Santa Monica Pier, including the Big Blue Bus and Metro Bus. From various locations in Los Angeles, take the Big Blue Bus or Metro Bus to the stops at Ocean/Colorado or Broadway/Ocean. From these stops, the Santa Monica Pier Arch is a short walk away. Big Blue Bus single ride fares are $1.25 for TAP/Mobile and $1.50 for cash. Metro Bus fares are $1.75 one way.

Many ride-share services, including Lyft and Uber, pick up and drop off passengers in Downtown Santa Monica. If heading to the Pier, set your destination to 1550 Appian Way to be dropped off by the beach to avoid the congestion of Ocean Avenue and the Pier Bridge.
