Walking
If you are located at Venice Beach Boardwalk, head east towards Pacific Avenue. Turn right onto Pacific Avenue and walk until you reach Rose Avenue. Turn left onto Rose Avenue and continue walking until you reach Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and walk until you reach Santa Monica Boulevard. From here, you can catch a bus or continue walking north towards West Hollywood. The Sunset Strip is located off Santa Monica Boulevard, so keep your eyes peeled for the signs.

Public Transportation
Start at the Venice Beach Boardwalk. Walk to the nearest bus stop at Windward Avenue and Pacific Avenue. Catch the Big Blue Bus Route 1 heading north towards Santa Monica. Get off at the stop at Santa Monica Boulevard and Main Street. From there, transfer to the Metro 4 Bus towards West Hollywood. Get off at the Sunset Strip stop, and you will be right at the entrance of this famous area.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops along Venice Beach. From the Venice Beach Boardwalk, head north along the bike path that runs parallel to the beach. Continue biking until you reach Santa Monica Boulevard. Turn left onto Santa Monica Boulevard and bike east until you reach the intersection with Sunset Boulevard. The Sunset Strip is just a short ride from there.
