Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car within Ventura County, start by getting onto US-101 S. Take exit 70A for California 33 S toward Ventura. Merge onto CA-33 S and continue until it merges with Ventura Ave. Follow Ventura Ave until it becomes Main St. Continue on Main St until you reach Shoreline Dr. Turn left onto Shoreline Dr, and you will find Surfers Point at Seaside Park along this road. There is ample parking available at the park, but note that parking may incur a fee during peak hours.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take the Ventura Intercity Transit (VIT) bus service. Check the VIT schedule for routes that stop near Main St and Shoreline Dr. Once you disembark, walk west on Main St toward Shoreline Dr, turn left onto Shoreline Dr, and walk approximately 0.5 miles until you reach Surfers Point. Be sure to confirm the bus timetable as services may vary.

• Bicycle

  If you're biking, Ventura County has several bike-friendly routes. From downtown Ventura, you can take the Ventura River Trail which leads to the beach. Once you reach the end of the trail, head south toward Shoreline Dr. Follow the road directly to Surfers Point. There are bike racks available, but make sure to bring a lock.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby, walking to Surfers Point is a great option. From downtown Ventura, head west on Main St toward Shoreline Dr. Continue walking for approximately 1 mile until you reach the beach. Surfers Point will be clearly marked once you approach the shoreline.
