Public Bus
Start at the Walnut Creek BART Station. Take the Contra Costa County Connection bus #5 towards the North Berkeley BART. Get off at the 'Marinwood Plaza' stop. From there, transfer to the Marin Transit bus #61 towards Sausalito. Ride the bus until you reach 'Bunker Rd & Marin City'. Once you get off, walk down Bunker Rd for about 10 minutes to reach the Baker-Barry Tunnel at 272 Bunker Rd.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Walnut Creek. Head north on Ygnacio Valley Rd, then take the path that connects to the Iron Horse Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the northern end, then merge onto the bike route leading to Sausalito. Continue on the bike lane until you reach Bunker Rd. The Baker-Barry Tunnel will be on your right at 272 Bunker Rd.

If you're near downtown Walnut Creek, walk towards the Walnut Creek BART Station. From there, head northwest on Mt. Diablo Blvd. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ygnacio Valley Rd. Walk along Ygnacio Valley Rd heading north for about 2 miles until you find the bike path. Follow the pedestrian-friendly paths towards Sausalito. This will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, so be prepared with water and snacks.
