    Getting There

    Bus

    From Walnut Creek BART station, take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Travel for about 30 minutes and get off at the Civic Center station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Civic Center Plaza, which is a short walk from the station. You will see the large public space with the City Hall and surrounding buildings.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike rental shop in Walnut Creek. Head south on N Main St towards Mt Diablo Blvd. Continue on Mt Diablo Blvd until you reach the trail that leads to the Iron Horse Trail. Follow the trail northwest until it connects to the Contra Costa Canal Trail. This will take you towards Pleasant Hill BART station. From there, you can take the BART train to Civic Center. The entire ride may take about 1.5 hours, depending on your pace.

    Walk

    For those who enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route from downtown Walnut Creek. Start at the Walnut Creek Plaza and head south on N Main St. Continue walking for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection of N Main St and Mt Diablo Blvd. Turn left onto Mt Diablo Blvd and continue walking for another mile until you reach the BART station. From there, you can take the BART train directly to Civic Center. The entire journey may take approximately 1 hour depending on your walking speed.
