    BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)

    From any location in Walnut Creek, walk to the Walnut Creek BART station located at 200 Ygnacio Valley Rd, Walnut Creek, CA 94596. Board a train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 40 minutes, disembark at the 'Civic Center' station in San Francisco. Once you exit the station, transfer to the 'N-Judah' Muni light rail line at the Civic Center station. Board the train heading towards 'Ocean Beach.' Travel for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Haight Street' stop. From there, it's just a short walk to explore the vibrant Haight-Ashbury neighborhood.

    Bus

    Find the nearest bus stop in Walnut Creek. The 'County Connection' bus service is your best option. Board the bus route 4 towards 'Pleasant Hill BART.' Once you reach the Pleasant Hill BART station, transfer to the BART train bound for San Francisco. Follow the same instructions as above to reach the 'Civic Center' BART station and then transfer to the 'N-Judah' Muni light rail line to get to Haight-Ashbury.
