Getting There
BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
Start at the Walnut Creek BART station, which is located at 200 Ygnacio Valley Road. Board a train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Embarcadero station. From there, transfer to the Fremont line and board a train towards Richmond. Ride for two more stops, getting off at the West Oakland station. From West Oakland, exit the station and walk approximately 15 minutes towards the Jack London Square, located at 472 Water St, Oakland, CA 94607.
Bus
From downtown Walnut Creek, head to the Walnut Creek Transit Center, located at 200 Ygnacio Valley Road. Board the AC Transit Bus 6 towards San Francisco. Stay on the bus for about 40 minutes, and get off at the stop at 7th St & Broadway. From there, walk towards Jack London Square, which is about a 10-minute walk south along Broadway. You will reach Jack London Square at 472 Water St, Oakland, CA 94607.
Walking
If you are already in central Walnut Creek, you can walk to Jack London Square. Start from the intersection of Ygnacio Valley Road and North Main Street. Head south on North Main Street towards the Walnut Creek BART station. From there, continue walking south until you reach the intersection with 1st Street. Turn left on 1st Street, and follow it until you reach the ferry terminal. Here, you can get a scenic view of the water and walk towards Jack London Square, which is located at 472 Water St, Oakland, CA 94607. The total walking distance is approximately 2.5 miles and will take around 50 minutes.
