Getting There

  • BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)

    From Walnut Creek BART Station, take the Pittsburg/Bay Point train towards Pittsburg/Bay Point. Ride for 35 minutes and get off at the Embarcadero Station. Once there, transfer to the Muni T line (which is a light rail train) towards Sunnydale. After about a 15-minute ride, get off at the Mission Bay stop. From the Mission Bay stop, it’s a short walk to Mission Bay. Head southwest on 4th Street, and you'll reach the waterfront area of Mission Bay.

  • Bus

    From the Walnut Creek downtown area, you can take the County Connection bus route 4 towards the Pleasant Hill BART station. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the Pleasant Hill BART station. From there, take the BART train as described above to get to Mission Bay. Alternatively, you can also take the County Connection bus route 6 which connects to the BART system directly.

  • Bike

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Walnut Creek. Start at the Walnut Creek downtown area and head west on Mount Diablo Blvd towards the bike path that leads to the Iron Horse Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the Pleasant Hill BART station, and from there take the BART train as described above to Mission Bay. Note that biking on city streets may require caution and awareness of traffic.
