To reach North Beach in San Francisco from Walnut Creek, start by heading to the Walnut Creek BART station. Board a train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 30 minutes, you'll arrive at the Embarcadero station. From Embarcadero, transfer to the Muni bus or streetcar. Take the Muni 8, 10, or 30 bus towards North Beach. Get off at the Columbus Ave & Union St stop, which is near the heart of North Beach. Follow Columbus Ave to explore the vibrant neighborhood.
Bus
Take the County Connection bus route 5 from Walnut Creek to the Pleasant Hill BART station. Once you arrive at Pleasant Hill BART, board the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. After a 30-minute ride, get off at the Embarcadero station. From there, take the Muni 8 bus towards North Beach and get off at the Columbus Ave & Union St stop.
