Public Transit
To get to The Speakeasy at 644 Broadway, San Francisco from Walnut Creek, start by heading to the Walnut Creek BART station located at 200 Ygnacio Valley Rd. Purchase a ticket to the Montgomery St. station in San Francisco. Board the train heading towards San Francisco International Airport. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Montgomery St. station, exit the station and head northwest on Montgomery Street towards Post Street. Continue onto Kearny Street, then turn left onto Broadway. Walk for about 10 minutes, and you will find The Speakeasy located at 644 Broadway on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Walnut Creek. Begin your ride on the Iron Horse Trail heading towards Pleasant Hill. Follow the trail until you reach the Pleasant Hill BART station. From there, you can take the BART train to Montgomery St. station in San Francisco (as described in the previous option). After arriving at Montgomery St. station, you can cycle up to The Speakeasy: head northwest on Montgomery Street, then turn left onto Broadway. The Speakeasy will be at 644 Broadway on your right.
Walking
Walking all the way from Walnut Creek to The Speakeasy is quite a long trek, approximately 20 miles. If you're up for it, start by heading east on Ygnacio Valley Road towards the city of Concord. You can follow the walking paths through parks and neighborhoods, but this will take several hours. A more manageable option is to walk to the Walnut Creek BART station, take the train to Montgomery St. station, and then walk from there, as detailed in the Public Transit option above.
